To test hypothesis, data collected from 221 employees in Uttarakhand.

Confirmatory factors analysis using SPSS software was carried out to identify factors related to psychological contract and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) of employees.

The study on psychological contract has grown significantly in last few decades and is being used extensively now in Human Resource Management discipline.

The psychological contract is utilised as one of the important tool to resolve many Human Resource (HR) related issues.

The review seeks to establish the practical utility and relevance of the theory of psychological contract in the present context and in the backdrop of highly unpredictable economic and social landscape.
