At the end of the month, everyone’s pictures go back up on our homework club board, and it begins again! There is another special part to our homework club, and that is the “yearly” homework club.
Basically, how it works is at the beginning of every month, everyone starts off in the homework club.
If they turn all their homework in on time, then they get to stay in the club! Students who turn all their homework in for the entire month get to come to our monthly homework club lunch.
Select a time and place to hold the club and then let others know about it.
Homework clubs should be enjoyable for children, but that doesn’t mean that they should operate without some basic rules and regulations.
We have it during the lunch/recess block, and last year we had a great time!
Last year I had two rectangular pans that I spray painted, one for the monthly homework club, and one for the yearly homework club.
Some schools already offer a homework club to help children study after school, but parents can also start a homework club in their community.
If you are interested in starting a homework club for your children, first set some rules and regulations.
Many after school programs offer a Homework Club or hour.
Some are required to do so and some do it to add to their beneficial daily programming.
