"TQM Journal is an international journal which strikes a great balance between the theory and practice of Quality Management principles across a broad range of industrial sectors ranging from manufacturing to service to public sector organisations.A number of articles appearing in this journal can be readily used for teaching, training and research purposes.You cant just blame one person for not adhering to quality measures. Total Quality management originated in the manufacturing sector, but can be applied to almost all organizations.
To understand the meaning of Total quality management, let us first know what does Quality mean?
Quality refers to a parameter which decides the superiority or inferiority of a product or service.
In fact, a number of my Doctoral students have widely used many research papers from TQM Journal over the years” 20th Excellence in Services Conference 2017 (Volume 30, Issue 5) - Guest Editors: Claudio Baccarani and Jacques Martin. This first Kaizen Special Issue was an attempt to carry out a systematic and in-depth research on Kaizen philosophy.
Since 2008, the scientific committee of the Conference have made a selection of the best papers presented each year. The published manuscripts range from the clarification of the Kaizen term to other improvement approaches such as TQM, lean thinking and Six Sigma, to research regarding the historical and managerial origins of Kaizen.
Research can be from the private sector or the public sectors of industry.
Small-to-Medium-sized enterprises: the journal welcomes research on critical success factors or limitations for their sustainability, growth performance, quality improvement, implementation of continuous improvement initiatives such as TQM, Lean, Six Sigma, ISO 9001 and other management standards Contributors should keep discussions on the history of quality management thought to a minimum and focus on their contribution to, and their advancement of, the body of knowledge on quality management.
Every individual who receives his/her paycheck from the organization has to contribute equally to design foolproof processes and systems which would eventually ensure superior quality of products and services.
Total Quality management is indeed a joint effort of management, staff members, workforce, suppliers in order to meet and exceed customer satisfaction level. Feigenbaum jointly developed the concept of total quality management.
